Rosenthal China Set
Phoenix Pattern
This is a set of Rosenthal china in the Phoenix pattern from 1924 (marked Bavaria). It has gold trim and verge, and is in near mint condition.
This includes settings for 12 (except for the coffee cup and saucer which there are only 11). See below for details.
Click the pictures for a closer look because the pattern has subtle design elements hidden from the casual observer. This is a stunning example of the art deco period and it is incredibly rare for an intact set of this pattern and near mint grade to become available.
The owners have stored the set since inheriting it from their grandparents. It was first presented as a wedding gift in 1924.
This is a must have compliment to an upscale home for fine dining with important company.
